Where Runtiler is available
Updated
The six countries where signing up, buying, claiming and withdrawing aren't available, how location is checked, and the age rule.
On this page
Runtiler is open in most of the world, including the UK and the US. In six countries, some things aren't available, because of sanctions law.
The six countries
From Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia and Belarus, you can't:
- buy a challenge
- claim a reward
- withdraw
You can still browse Runtiler from there. If you try one of these, you see a message such as "Buying isn't available in your country."
How your location is checked
Runtiler works out your country from the IP address of your connection, each time you do one of these four things. So what counts is where you're connecting from at that moment, not your nationality or where your account was made. Your IP address is never stored.
If you think a check got your country wrong, email support@runtiler.com.
Using a VPN
Using a VPN, or any other way to get around this, breaks the Terms of Use, and Runtiler may refuse your claims and end your accounts. We'd much rather that didn't happen to anyone, so please only use Runtiler from where it is available.
Withdrawal addresses
Before a withdrawal is sent, the address it goes to is checked against a public sanctions list. Runtiler doesn't send to an address on that list. See Withdrawals.
Age
You need to be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. When you agree to the Terms, you confirm that you are.
Wherever you are, you follow the laws that apply to you.
