Getting started
Your wallet and balance
Updated
Your Runtiler wallet holds USDC on Polygon. It is yours, Runtiler charges no fees on it, and here is what goes in and out.
On this page
Every Runtiler account comes with its own wallet, made for you when you first sign in. It holds USDC on Polygon. Unlike the balance of a challenge account, which is simulated, your wallet balance is real money.
It is yours
Your wallet is non-custodial: the USDC in it is yours, and Runtiler doesn't hold it. Runtiler can use it for one thing only, paying for a challenge you buy. It can't send your USDC anywhere else, and every withdrawal is signed by you.
Your wallet address is never shown on your public profile.
What goes in and out
| In | Out |
|---|---|
| Deposits, by card or crypto | Challenges you buy |
| Rewards you claim | Withdrawals |
| Refunds of a challenge's price, and fee refunds | |
| Earnings from your challenges and referrals | |
| USDC that arrived after a checkout was cancelled or timed out |
Each one shows on the Wallet tab of your profile, which only you can see.
USDC on Polygon
Your balance is native USDC on the Polygon network. Prices and rewards are in US dollars, paid 1:1 in USDC.
When you send coins to your wallet address yourself, send only USDC on Polygon: other coins and networks aren't counted in your balance. If you sent something else by mistake, contact support@runtiler.com. See Deposits.
No fees
Runtiler charges no fees on your wallet. It pays the network fee when you buy, when you are paid, and when you withdraw USDC on Polygon.
- Withdrawing USDC on Polygon is free and instant, from $10.
- Withdrawing to another token or network is swapped for you. The fee you see is the bridge and the network, not Runtiler.
- A card provider may charge its own fees. Runtiler doesn't set or receive them.
Your keys
You can export your wallet's private key in Settings, with Export private key. It opens a secure window from our wallet provider: Runtiler never sees your key. Anyone with the key can take your funds, so keep it offline and never share it. Runtiler support will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase.
