Add money to your Runtiler wallet by card or crypto, why USDC on Polygon is the best way, and what to do if you sent the wrong token.
On this page
Your balance is USDC on Polygon, held in your own Runtiler wallet. To add to it, open the Wallet tab on your profile and tap Deposit. A window opens with two ways to add money: card and crypto.
You don't need to deposit before you buy a challenge. Checkout can take a card or crypto payment for exactly what is missing.
The best way: USDC on Polygon
Send native USDC on the Polygon network to your Runtiler wallet address. It is the same money as your balance, so what you send is what you get: no conversion, nothing taken off.
- Token: native USDC, contract
0x3c499c542cEF5E3811e1192ce70d8cC03d5c3359. Not USDC.e (an older, bridged version) or USDT. - Network: Polygon.
Your address is shown in the deposit window, and at checkout when you pay with crypto.
Other coins and networks
In the deposit window you can also pay from another network, or with another coin. A third party converts it to USDC on Polygon for you. Conversion has costs, so you'll usually end up with a little less than you sent.
This only works through the window. Sent straight to your wallet address, only native USDC on Polygon counts.
By card
In the deposit window you can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The payment provider buys USDC for you and sends it to your wallet. The provider may ask you to verify your identity. Runtiler adds no fee.
How long it takes
A deposit shows in your balance once the Polygon network confirms it. You get a "Deposit received" notification when it lands. A card payment or a conversion takes as long as its provider takes.
The wrong token or network
Only native USDC on Polygon counts toward your balance. If you sent another coin straight to your address, or used another network, it doesn't show in your balance.
Email support@runtiler.com with what you sent, the network and the transaction link or hash. We'll look at what can be done, though we can't promise it can be recovered.
