Pay with crypto

Pay for a challenge with USDC on Polygon: where to send it, how much, the 30-minute hold, and what happens to late or extra money.
On this page
At checkout, choose Crypto and send USDC on Polygon to your own Runtiler wallet address. When it lands, your wallet pays the price and your account opens.
Where to send it
The Pay with crypto screen shows your Runtiler wallet address, with a QR code and Copy address. It is your own wallet, not Runtiler's: the money stays yours until the purchase uses it.
Send only this:
- Token: native USDC, contract
0x3c499c542cEF5E3811e1192ce70d8cC03d5c3359. Not USDC.e (an older, bridged version), USDT or any other coin. - Network: Polygon.
On an exchange, pick USDC and the Polygon network when you withdraw.
How much to send
Send the amount under Send exactly. Copy the amount copies it for you. It is the price, less what your wallet already holds and less any code.
- If your exchange or wallet takes its fee out of what it sends, add the fee on top, so the full amount arrives.
- If less arrives, the page shows what came and what is left ("Received 30.00 USDC. 20.00 to go."), under Send the rest.
- If more arrives, the purchase takes the price, and the extra stays in your wallet ("The extra 5.00 USDC is in your wallet.").
The 30-minute hold
When you tap pay, your price, and your code if you used one, are held for 30 minutes. Send within that time. After you send, tap I've sent it. The page waits, with a countdown, and keeps the QR code and the amount on screen.
You have one purchase waiting for money at a time. Starting a new buy replaces the one waiting.
How long it takes
Once you send, it is "Usually under a minute." The account opens as soon as the payment is confirmed on Polygon, and you see Payment complete.
Late or extra money
Money that comes late, extra or after you cancel is never lost. It stays in your Runtiler wallet.
- If nothing arrives within the 30 minutes, you see "Payment not received". If you did send it, it goes to your wallet when it arrives.
- Buy again and your wallet pays in one tap, or withdraw it.
The wrong token or network
Only native USDC on Polygon counts toward your balance. If you sent another coin, or used another network, it doesn't show in your balance and doesn't pay for the challenge.
Email support@runtiler.com with what you sent, the network and the transaction link or hash. We'll look at what can be done, though we can't promise it can be recovered.
