Creating challenges
Publish and share
Updated
Public and private challenges, the same-rules rule, unpublishing without affecting buyers, and sharing your challenge's link.
On this page
A published challenge is on your profile, and anyone can buy it. You earn a share of every sale. A private one is yours alone: only you can buy it, and it doesn't show to visitors.
Publish when you create it
The editor's review has a Publish on your profile switch. It is on each time the editor opens.
- On: "Anyone can buy it. You earn on every sale." The challenge goes public as soon as your purchase of it is confirmed.
- Off: "Only you can buy it. You can publish it later."
Publish later
Open the challenge from your profile's Challenges tab. A private one shows Ready to publish, with its price and what you earn a sale. Tap Publish.
One public challenge per set of rules
Two creators can't both have a public challenge with the same size and rules. If another creator's is already public, publishing yours shows: "Another creator has a public challenge with the same size and rules. Change one rule or the size."
The same check runs when you create with the switch on. If an identical public challenge already exists, yours is created private. The editor warns you before that with Already exists.
A created challenge's rules can't change, so to publish, make a new challenge with one rule different.
Unpublish
Open a public challenge and tap Unpublish, then confirm. It leaves your profile, so nobody new can buy it.
People who already bought it keep their accounts, and their rules and prices don't change. You can publish it again later, unless another creator has published the same rules in the meantime.
