Claiming a reward
Updated
When a funded account can claim, how the reward is worked out, what happens to the account after, and the steps to claim.
On this page
Once your account is funded, you can claim a reward from its profit. You claim it yourself from the account, and it is paid in USDC to your Runtiler wallet.
When you can claim
You can claim when all of these are true:
- The account is funded: you have passed every step, or it is an instant funding account.
- Nothing is open. Close every position first. Pending orders can stay, but they are cancelled when you claim.
- Your balance is above the account's size. Open profit doesn't count, only closed trades, after fees.
- The claim window is open. Depending on the challenge, you can claim any time, weekly, or every 2 weeks, counted from the day you were funded (or bought, for instant funding) and then from each claim. The account's claim tab shows when it opens, in UTC.
- Your reward reaches the minimum claim the challenge sets. With a $100 minimum, a reward of $80 waits until it grows.
- Consistency to claim, if the challenge has it: your best day is at most the set % of your profit. See consistency.
- No earlier claim is still being checked or under review. You can have one claim at a time.
Claiming isn't available from some countries. See where Runtiler is available.
How much you get
Your reward is your profit × the challenge's reward split, rounded down to the cent. Your profit is your balance minus the account's size. You claim the whole reward at once, not part of it.
If the challenge has fee back, your first reward also brings back the price you paid.
After you claim
The account goes back to its size and stays funded, and you keep trading. It starts fresh: the claim window, your profit and your best day all count again from the claim. The max loss and daily limit start again from the size too.
How to claim
- Open the account on your profile and go to its claim tab.
- Press Claim. You see the amount, where it goes (your wallet, in USDC) and the account after.
- Hold Hold to claim until it confirms.
- Checking your claim shows while it is checked. You can close it.
A claim with nothing flagged is paid within seconds, and the amount lands in your wallet. A flagged claim is held for a person to look at first. See claim checks and when you are paid.
A worked example
Your funded account is $50,000, with an 80% split, a $100 minimum claim and consistency to claim at 40%. You close your last trade at a balance of $52,400.
- Profit: $52,400 − $50,000 = $2,400.
- Reward: 80% of $2,400 = $1,920, over the $100 minimum.
- Consistency: your best day can be at most 40% of $2,400 = $960.
If your best day was $960 or less, you can claim $1,920 now. If it was $1,100, keep trading: as long as no day beats $1,100, you can claim once your profit reaches $2,750, because $1,100 is 40% of $2,750. After you claim, the account is back at $50,000.
