What is Runtiler?
Runtiler sells trading challenges on simulated accounts. Each challenge is a set of rules made by a creator: a profit target, loss limits and the share of profit you keep. Pass its steps and the account is funded, and from then on you can claim a share of your profit as a reward, paid in USDC.
Anyone can also make a challenge, publish it and earn from every sale. More in What is Runtiler.
Is it real money?
The trading is simulated. Prices come from real markets, but no order you place ever reaches a market, and an account balance isn't money.
What you pay for a challenge and the rewards you claim are real: USDC on Polygon, 1:1 with the US dollar, in your own wallet. See How a challenge works.
How do I start?
Sign up with your email, a Google account or a wallet, and a Runtiler wallet is created for you. Pick a challenge, or make your own, and pay by card or with USDC. Your account opens at once, and you trade in the terminal, in your browser on a computer or a phone.
The steps are in Create your account and Buy your first challenge.
How much does a challenge cost, and who sets the price?
Runtiler works out each challenge's price from its rules, from $10, the same way for every creator. Creators choose the rules, not the price. You see the price before you buy, and it never changes after.
More in How prices are set.
How do I pay?
By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through MoonPay, from $20, or with USDC on Polygon. Checkout uses your wallet balance first, and you pay only what is missing. Runtiler adds no fee on top.
See Pay by card and Pay with crypto.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can get the full price you paid back any time until your first trade on that account, with no deadline, while the account is open. Email support@runtiler.com with the account number, and the price comes back to your Runtiler wallet in USDC within 14 days. A refund ends the account.
The details are in Refunds.
What ends an account?
Each challenge sets its own limits, shown before you buy. An account ends when its equity, including open trades, touches the max loss line, when it reaches the daily loss limit (some challenges pause until 00:00 UTC instead), or when a time limit runs out before a step is passed.
An account also ends if you get a refund for it or a claim on it is rejected. See What ends an account.
When do I pass a step?
A step passes when you close a trade and leave nothing open, with your balance at or above the target and every other rule of the challenge met, such as its trading days. Open profit doesn't count until it is closed.
The next step then starts at the full account size, and after the last step the account is funded. See Profit targets and steps.
How are rewards paid, and how fast?
On a funded account with nothing open, you claim your reward: your share of the profit above the starting size. It is paid in USDC to your Runtiler wallet. Every claim is checked in seconds, and a claim with nothing flagged is sent within seconds.
A flagged claim is held for a person to review, and the amount is kept for you meanwhile. See Claiming a reward and When you are paid.
Are rewards backed?
Rewards are paid from Runtiler's vault, a contract on Polygon that anyone can look up. The contract can't be changed, and money leaves it in only two ways: as payments to traders and creators, or as what is left above the amount owed, which goes to Runtiler's treasury.
You can see live what the vault holds, what is owed to traders and how much of it is backed in How rewards are backed.
What fees are there?
You pay the challenge's price, with no fee on top, and withdrawals of USDC on Polygon are free. Inside your account, trading has the costs a real account has: the spread, a commission on Raw accounts, and an overnight fee for positions held at 00:00 UTC. They come out of the simulated balance, not your wallet.
See Spreads and commissions and Overnight fees.
What can I trade, and with what leverage?
There are 25 markets in six kinds: crypto, forex, metals, energy, indices and stocks. Leverage is set per market and is the same on every challenge: up to 1:100 on EUR/USD and GBP/USD, 1:30 on gold, 1:25 on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, 1:15 on silver and oil, 1:5 on Bitcoin and Ethereum, 1:3 on stocks and 1:2 on the other coins.
See Markets and hours and Leverage and margin.
Can I hold trades over the weekend, or trade the news?
Yes, on every challenge. A position pays the overnight fee for each 00:00 UTC it is held, so a Friday-to-Monday hold pays three nights.
While a market is closed, its positions stay open at the last price. When it reopens, a price gap fills at the first price, which can be past your stop. See Markets and hours.
Can I have more than one account?
Yes. Each person has one Runtiler login, and on it you can hold as many challenge accounts as you like, at the same time. Every rule applies across all of them.
Is copy trading allowed?
Copying trades between accounts, or hedging one account against another, isn't allowed, and that includes your own accounts. Every claim is checked, and a flagged claim is held for a person, who decides.
If the person confirms copy or hedge trading, the claim isn't paid and every account in the flagged group ends. See Claim checks.
How do creators earn?
Make a challenge, publish it on your profile, and earn a share of every sale: 10% from your first sale, and 15% from 100 sales. Partners earn an agreed rate of 10% to 20%. Each share is paid in USDC to your wallet once the buyer starts trading.
See Earn as a creator and Partner program.
Do I need to show ID?
Not to buy a challenge or to trade. If you pay by card, MoonPay may ask for ID. Runtiler may ask for proof of identity before paying a reward, and if it does, it pays once you've given it.
Where is Runtiler not available?
Signing up, buying, claiming and withdrawing aren't available from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia or Belarus. It is checked from your connection's location, and you can still browse from there. You need to be 18 or older.
How do I contact Runtiler?
